I didn’t know that Nir has also written the book “Asterisk Now“, also for Packt Publishing. I am waiting for a review copy and when I can, I will review the book here. However, having met Nir and watched his presentation on EC2, I’m already recommending you consider the book.

    Hi Randy,

    Well, the AsteriskNOW book is fairly outdated now, as it covers AsteriskNOW 1.0.2beta – thus, it is fairly outdated and non-compatible with the FreePBX enabled AsteriskNOW 1.5

    All you need to do is what my wife did for her book, have a blog that extends it and keeps things up to date enough until the … ahem… second edition ! When are you comeing online with us to talk about EC2? In two weeks would be great, May 29th?
