We discovered Media5-fone in the perenial search for SIP clients that can connect us to ZipDX.com, the VUC wideband server. It happens that OnSIP.com and Sipgate.com also do g722, so we’re always happy to see a new addition. There is currently an iPhone (iPod/iPad) version and a Symbian S-60 version.

Media5 was eager to accept our help in testing the g722 app, and I’m happy to say it works well. The newest version with the features we’re testing now should be out in a week or two. I hope to use the app from China (but who knows how that wiill work out?)
